The Regie continued its efforts to combat smuggling, as it seized large quantities of smuggled cigarettes, as well as counterfeit and smuggled mu’assel.
The raid operations, during which these quantities were seized, covered Jabal Mohsen in the north, while some transport vehicles were ambushed in Dora and Kafaat in the south, and their cargo of smuggled tobacco products was confiscated.
Reports were filed against the violators and submitted to the competent judicial authority.
