The anti-smuggling department at La Regie Libanaise Des Tabacs et Tombacs (Regie) carried out a number of raids in the regions of Metn, Keserwan, and North Lebanon and confiscated large quantities of smuggled tobacco products, tombac, cigars, and e-cigarettes. Fines against smugglers were worth millions of dollars and arrest warrants were issued against them and referred to the concerned authorities.
