On Tuesday, the Lebanese Regie for Tobacco hosted a delegation from the Iraqi Ministry of Finance as part of an ongoing training program organized by the Ministry in collaboration with the Basil Fuleihan Institute for Economy and Finance. The program focused on “Leadership and Corporate Change in Reform Processes.”
The Iraqi delegation was cordially welcomed by Engineer Nassif Seklaoui, the Regie’s President and Director General, alongside members of the administrative committee including Engineer George Hobeika, Engineer Mazen Abboud and Dr. Issam Salman. Also present were Ms. Mirna Baz, the government commissioner to the Regie, Ms. Carole Youssef, the financial auditor and a number of senior executives.
During the visit, the delegation received a comprehensive overview of the Regie's journey through the process of corporate change which encompassed insights into management strategies, challenges encountered, the resultant impact, and the pivotal role of training in transformation. Following this, the delegation enjoyed a guided tour of the Regie’s manufacturing facilities.
