In the context of the sustainable development program recently launched by the Régie Libanaise des Tabacs et Tombacs, the Regie offered to the Municipality of Zebdin in the district of Nabatieh a BobCat excavator for road cleaning works in addition to a generator and a pesticide pump sprayer for agricultural pests and diseases control, thus providing valuable assistance to the town’s farmers.
Eng. Abdul Mawla Al Mawla, Head of the Leaf Department and Eng. Jaafar Husseini, Head of agriculture and procurement at the Regie visited the town and met with the President of the Municipality who thanked the Regie for its support and commended on its sustainability program and its role in developing rural areas.
