The President and General Manager of the Regie Eng. Nassif Seklaoui delivered the municipal chief of Izal, Mr. Rahif Abdel Rahman, today, the second payment that covers the irrigation system project connected to the main water tank in the village, in which the Regie is participating.of this sector.
In turn, Eng. Mazen Abboud spoke on behalf of the RLTT: “my family honored me, in the person of its President Eng. Nassif Seklaoui and the colleagues at the Administration Committee, by delegating me to the Abbey in order to light Christmas candle on the door of this land, sanctified till the martyrdom by the loyalty of its citizens and their interaction with the surrounding in order to defend their city.” He added: “I came to tell you that the RLTT shares your moments for worse as well as for the joy of Jesus Christ birth, since we decided at the RLTT to light candles in the darkness, believing that Lebanon doesn’t straighten without a rural side. Thus we came here announcing that we are the sons of this land for the sake of which we work. One day we will all be gone but this land will remain eternal to the immortal and timeless Creator. God, for you we pray in this evening. Protect our country, guard of families, give us your everlasting peace, grow our establishment’s beneficences so it would keep lighting candles in the middle of dark, and protect and support he who loves peace, Oh Dear God of Peace.”
At the end, on behalf of the RLTT, Eng. Mazen Abboud deeply greeted the beloved citizens of Deir Al Ahmar and Bekaa in general in the occasion of Christmas and New Year.
Then, Archbishop Hanna Rahme spoke about Christmas meanings, thanking the RLTT and Deir Al Ahmar Municipality for this generous move and for lighting Christmas candle.
Finally, Mr. Akouri offered a shield to the guardian of the ceremony.
