The Lebanese Regie for Tobacco commenced early receipt of southern tobacco crops, ahead of the initially-scheduled dates. This initiative is driven by the Regie’s commitment to easing the burdens of local farmers, with a particular focus on communities that face the risks of bombing and displacement. The Regie has organized this early reception with the involvement of four committees with an additional two committees set to join in the coming week.
A special emphasis has been placed on villages located along the direct front lines, Aitaroun and Rmeish being the first to deliver their crops in Nabatieh and Tibnine regions.
The Regie’s proactive approach has garnered approval and satisfaction from the local farmers who appreciated the support extended to communities prone to Israeli aggression.
