The Regie launched the second edition of "Manchar Souwar" photography competition and participation is open on its website for amateur and professionals of all ages until August 31st.
The Regie, who seeks to embrace creativity and support young artists and intellectuals in the frame of its strategy of sustainable development, said that this competition is one of the most humanistic methods of documentation; impartially depicting the farmers' fatigue and the importance of this agriculture. The second edition of "Manchar Souwar" tackles different themes, which are: “faces and stories”, "roots", "patience", "hand in hand", and "hardness". Participants can load their photographs on the Regie’s website until August 31st inclusive, while valuable prizes await the winners.
As for the competition’s terms; an arbitration committee will evaluate the winning photographs of the first and second prizes, while the public will vote online on the link of the contest www.rltt.com.lb/competition between the first of September and the fifteenth inclusive in order to choose the best photograph. Results will be announced during the opening ceremony of "Manchar Souwar 2" exhibition on October 4th.

Seklaoui delivered a speech in which he stressed that Regie will continue its work and will always offer developmental projects as part of its sustainable development plan launch in 2016 under the patronage of Speaker Berri.
He also mentioned that all this goes back to the will of the successful and coherent Regie team that has given the treasury of the state 6 million USD; thus becoming a productive institution rather than one that seeks assistance from the state. He also added that “the teachings of Imam Musa al-Sadr will always help us remain at the service of the people because we come from a political school that was established to stand by the side of the people no matter the circumstances.”
Consequently, Safieddine offered an honorary shield to Eng. Seklaoui then the commemorative plaque holding the name of Regie road was unveiled.
By the end of the event, Eng. Seklaoui and the attendees walked through the newly inaugurated road funded by Regie.
