In response to the invitation of Shabriha’s mayor, the Regie, represented by its General Manager Mr. Nassif Seklaoui inaugurated a project aiming to restore the facades at the town, as well as to improve its residences and to greening its road sides.
The project comes within the cooperation with the municipality of Tyr. The ceremony that was held at the mayor’s residence was attended by Mr. Seklaoui, Tyr’s municipal chief Mr. Hassan Dbouk, along with his vice Mr. Salah Sebraoui, as well as Mr. Ali Atieh and Mr. Nabil Baradei, representing Tyr’s municipality.
As well, were present the member of the political office at Amal Movement Mr. Atef Aoun, the organizational chief of Amal Movement in Tyr Mr. Abo Hassan Qteich. Representing the Regie, were Mr. Abdel Mawla Al-Mawla and Mr. Jaafar Housseini. Not to mention, other social figures from the town were attending the ceremony.
The mayor took the speech, whereas he underlined the Regie’s role and appreciated Mr. Seklaoui’s pioneer initiative and contribution in order to develop the town.
Later, Mr. Atef Aoun spoke; he stressed the complem his counterparts to discuss the pressures on this sector. In fact, the Regie is proud to be the only public sector institution to take the initiative of bringing together four Arab countries.
The Egyptian delegation includes the Chairman of the Eastern Tobacco Company Mr. Mohamed Osman Haroun, the head of tobacco sector Mr. Nasr Abdel Aziz, while the Tunisian delegation includes the General Manager of the National Tobacco Agency, Mr. Sami Ben Janat, the Deputy General Manager of Cairauan Tobacco Factory, Mr. Abdel Wahab Alani, the Director of Legal Affairs at the Tunisian Ministry of Finance Mr. Jalal Al-Samaili. On the other hand, the General Manager of the General Organization of Tobacco Mr. Nader JaberAbdullah represents the Syrian delegation. In addition, an Algerian delegation is also participating in the event.
