In his Hadath office, the Chairman and the Director General of the Regie, Mr. Nassif Seklaoui, delivered a financial contribution to the actor and director Mr. Kassem Estanbouli, the founder of the Lebanese International Theater Festival and the International Theater, Film, and Music Festival.
The contribution supports Mr. Estanbouli's cultural activities that aim, through Tyro Association for Arts, to rehabilitate Stars Cinema in Nabatieh and Rivoni Cinema in Tyre in order to become distinctive centers of culture, arts, and varied theatrical performances. These activities play an active role in improving the image of the region at the cultural and artistic level, in one hand, and its influence over citizens, in the second hand.
During the meeting, Seklaoui spoke about the importance of such activities and stressed the Regie’s willingness to support young talents. The second edition of Manachar Souwar will be launched within one month, aiming to highlight the human aspect of the efforts that farmers pay during the journey of a tobacco plant.

For his part, Engineer Seklaoui expressed his happiness and said: “We come to Akkar to see our beloved ones, our loyal brother and friends. We have goodwill towards the hardworking men who are still planting and working in the fields. We did not come to check on our projects, but we came to prove that Akkar is a solid corner for the country.”
He also mentioned that some parties are criticizing their projects, but on the opposite side, others such as PM Hariri are praising their projects and supporting the work of Regie.
“From Akkar, we want to reiterate that development is a responsibility towards our people. With the support of Speaker Berri, we will always be biased to the hard-working people to keep on nurturing hope in our regions.”
Eng. Seklaoui concluded by thanking all the attendees, the heads of municipalities, and his fellow friend Khaled Khaled.
By the end of the event, Khaled offered Eng. Seklaoui an honorary shield and a cocktail banquet was held for the occasion.
