Delegation from Regie briefs Finance Minister on key achievements

A delegation from the Lebanese Regie for Tobacco met with Finance Minister Yassin Jaber at his office in the Ministry on Wednesday.

Headed by the Regie’s chairman and general manager, Eng. Nassif Seklawi, the delegation included Board of Director members Eng. Georges Hobeika, Dr. Issam Salman and Dr. Mazen Abboud, as well as the government commissioner to the Regie, Mirna Baz, and the financial controller, Carol Youssef. The minister’s advisor, Dr. Jad Jaber also attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the delegation presented an overview of the Regie’s most significant achievements, while also outlining the main challenges and key issues currently facing the institution.

Finally, the delegation invited Minister Jaber to visit the Regie’s headquarters in Hadat, offering him the opportunity to witness firsthand the production processes and the recent advancements made across various operational levels.
