The Patriotic Vision Organization (PVA) ended on Saturday (December 02) the program on the eradication of child labor which lasted for 3 months under the supervision and through funding from La Régie Libanaise des Tabacs & Tombacs (Regie) and in cooperation with the Municipality of Yanouh.
The event was held at Yanouh Municipality in the presence of the Vice President of the Union of Municipalities of Tyre, Hassan Hammoud, representatives of Regie Engineer Mawla Abdel El Mawla and Engineer Jaafar El Husseini along with a delegation from Regie, VP of Burj Rahhal Municipality Ali Safa, President of Yanouh Municipality Ali Jaber, President of PVA organization in Lebanon Kassem Safa, President of Alma El Chaab Municipality Jean Ghafari and a number of social figures.
President of Yanouh Municipality Ali Jaber commenced the event by a speech in which he thanked the Director General of Regie Eng. Nassif Seklaoui and noted that this special program, which aims at eradicating child labor is targeting one of the most prominent issues faced by local communities.
He also expressed his hope to further work on other activities with Regie and PVA.

Iaat to inform them more on the planting lavender and means to benefit fromthis plant to extract aromatic oils in a bid to diversify their sources of income.
The workshop is part of Regie’s continuous efforts to support the farmers and proceed with the developmental projects it is conducting in tobacco and tombacs planting towns.
And as part of the workshop that will last 3 months, Regie in cooperation with the Municipality of Iaat, chose a number offarmers to conduct some experiments in their fields and provided them with the needed equipment in order to accomplish this task.
