The Regie Holds a Seminar in Al-Seaideh

The Regie held an orientation seminar for tobacco farmers in Al-Seaideh’s Hussainia hall.

 

The seminar was attended by a representative of the Tobacco Farmers’ Syndicate in the Bekaa, a number of farmers from the village of Al-Seaideh and the neighboring towns, the mayor of the village, representatives of the political parties in the area, the head of the Agriculture and Purchases’ Office in the Bekaa, Mr. Hossam Sharif and engineers Wassim Taurus, Daoud Daoud and Nina Koussa.

 

Engineer Taurus discussed the Regie's program to improve the quality of the crops and produce the finest types of tobacco at the lowest possible cost, in order to ensure the sustainability of tobacco cultivation in the village, through the use of the latest technologies.
