Following several raids that had been carried within its efforts to fight smuggling, the Regie has seized large amounts of smuggled tobacco products, tombac, and molasses.

The Regie has cleared that the raids have been carried by its anti-smuggling corps, including the zones of Lailaki, Hay el Sellom, and the vicinity of the Lebanese University. Reports has been drafted against infringers and communicated to the competent jurisdiction.
