Regie’s Anti-Smuggling Department raids Meryata for counterfeit products
The anti-smuggling department at La Regie Libanaise Des Tabacs Et Tombacs (Regie) continued its efforts aimed at combatting smuggled tobacco products. In this regard, the department held a raid in Meryata – North Lebanon where it confiscated large quantities of counterfeit tobacco and tombac products.
 
Fines were issued against smugglers and they were immediately referred to the concerned authorities.
