Regie’s anti-smuggling department confiscates smuggled tobacco products from Tripoli and Mejdlaya
The anti-smuggling department at La Regie Libanaise Des Tabacs Et Tombacs (Regie) continued its efforts aimed at combating smuggled products.

In this regard, the department held a number of raids in Tripoli and and Mejdlaya where it confiscated large quantities of smuggled tobacco products and tombac.

Fines against smugglers were worth millions of Lebanese pounds and arrest warrants were issued against them and referred to the concerned authorities.
