Regie’s anti-smuggling department raids various regions in Akkar, confiscates smuggled tobacco products

The anti-smuggling department at La Regie Libanaise Des Tabacs Et Tombacs (Regie) held a number of raids in the Akkar regions of Wadi Khaled, Mashta Hassan, and Bebnin where it confiscated large quantities of smuggled tobacco products and tombac.

 

 

Fines against smugglers were worth millions of Lebanese pounds and arrest warrants were issued against them and referred to the concerned authorities.

 

It is worth noting that raids are part of Regie’s continuous efforts to combat smuggling in Lebanon.
