Haddatha benefits from Regie fund to construct pond for rainwater collection
 
As part of its sustainable development plan, La Regie Libanaise Des Tabacs Et Tombacs (Regie) funded the village of Haddatha in Bint Jbeil District to construct a pond for the collection of water.
The pond will collect rainwater that was previously wasted to be used at a later stage for the irrigation of lands mainly during the summer season. This will eventually increase the agricultural produce and provide a sustainable source of water.
